INSURANCE

One of the last things to check before finally doing the deal is to check whether you can actually afford to insure the car you are just about to buy.

If the car is a high performance once or rare or large and luxurious and you are under 25 the chances are that you may not get cover at all or, if it is offered, only at considerable cost.

Get at least 5 insurance qoutas from a mix of brokers and direct phone insurers. Be honest in response to their questions and ensure that all members of the family who might drive the car can get insured at an affordable cost.
