Described as "the Garden Party of the Gods", the Goodwood Festival of Speed, this year over the long weekend of 22nd-24th June, has become the world's biggest celebration of the history of motor sport and is now firmly on the sporting and social calendars of many of the top stars and fans alike.

Lord March lines up with Derek Bell, Damon Hill, Riccardo Patrese, Jochen Mass, Colin McRae and Michele Mouton.

This annual event is held in the beautiful parkland surrounding Goodwood House, near Chichester in West Sussex, and combines the thrills and spills of the Hillclimb Competition, racing vehicles from the pre-1914 racers to today's Formula One cars over a 1.16 mile course, with a forest rally stage, the Sunday Times "InGear" Supercar Run, the Cartier "Style et Luxe" car design competition, and the world's most famous cars and drivers, motorcycles and riders.

There is nowhere else that you can get so close to the action, the smells and colour of 100 years of motoring history.
